Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is an action-platformer where players control Arzette on a quest to defeat the evil Daimur. Featuring 2D gameplay and animated cutscenes in a nostalgic CD-i format, the game offers high-quality visuals and engaging gameplay. However, it struggled with visibility and pre-launch hype. To increase its player base and generate interest in the competitive USA and UK markets, Arzette partnered with Game Marketing Genie to boost wishlists, engagement, and revenue. The goal was to target the right audience and convert interest into direct sales, ensuring long-term success on the platform.

To meet Arzette's goals, we executed a multi-platform, data-driven strategy focused on reaching the right players and boosting wishlists and revenue:

  • Platform selection: We strategically used Meta, YouTube, and Reddit. Meta ads targeted users based on behavior, interests, and gaming habits, while YouTube showcased the game’s immersive story and gameplay. Reddit enabled organic engagement with gaming communities.
  • Creative strategy: Our team worked with Arzette to align ad creatives with the game’s narrative and aesthetic, emphasizing why it was a must-play for platformer fans. Through compelling visuals, trailers, and key messaging, we brought Arzette to life.
  • Optimization and retargeting: We continuously optimized ads for better performance and adjusted targeting based on engagement. We also retargeted users who interacted with the campaign but hadn't taken action, ensuring maximum efficiency.

The campaign exceeded expectations in a short time frame. Within a month, Arzette saw a significant increase in wishlists (over 3.5K), solidifying its pre-launch fanbase. The campaign also generated USD 35,455 in revenue, delivering a clear return on investment. This success not only provided Arzette with the exposure needed for a strong launch but also led to the client partnering with Game Marketing Genie to market two additional games.
