Skylanders Ring of Heroes is a mobile role playing game set in the Skylanders universe which sees players building teams of popular characters to fight in a turn-based manner against other well-known enemies. 

Com2uS and Activision were seeking an Australian digital marketing agency who could assist with the soft launch of the game in the Australia-Pacific region by providing expert consultation, go-to-market strategy development, creative concept design, and a data-led influencer campaign.

The Skylanders Ring of Heroes campaign was in its final three weeks when Game Marketing Genie was brought on board to help improve performance and achieve set goals.

Using bespoke in-house research software, the Game Marketing Genie data science team developed a thorough list of ready-to-work gaming influencers who aligned with the brand messaging and target audience for the campaign.

A single ad set with a handful of creative concept designs was implemented to rapidly improve brand awareness during the later stages of the game's lifecycle.
